What If?

For the past two weeks or so I have been working on a poster to introduce my thesis. Using a "What if" structure for the question my work will be tackling and thoughtful imagery, I designed a poster that asks "What if I rebranded the story?" This is paired with imagery that expresses the imagination and wonder that a book holds. I chose to have an image of the book that I will be designing for, The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, open and glowing with type flying off the pages. This is meant to reference the specific story I am working on rebranding, while connoting the freeing of imagination. This sets a tone for my work that I think is necessary for the magical world within the story.
